Joseph Borda is Senior VP, Research & Data Operations. The alternatives assets industry’s leading source of data, insights and solutions for professionals around the globe. Joseph is responsible for the Americas Investor dataset, including implementation and future advancements of Preqin’s product offerings. He is a CAIA Charterholder and holds a Bachelor of Science in Economics from Syracuse University.
Aaron Filbeck, CAIA, CFA, FDP, CIPM
Director, Global Content Development @CAIA
Aaron Filbeck serves as Associate Director of Content Development at CAIA Association, where he supports the curation, development, and execution of the organization’s content strategy and CAIA Charter Program curriculum. A demonstrated writer, Aaron has published on topics such as environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing, liquid alternatives, commodities, and asset pricing/factor investing. Prior to his role at CAIA Association, Aaron served as a portfolio manager at The Joseph Group Capital Management, a registered investment adviser (RIA) in Columbus, OH. Here, he oversaw manager research and portfolio construction efforts for $500 million worth of high net worth individuals and institutional retirement plans. Aaron earned a B.S. with distinction in Finance and a Master of Finance from Penn State University. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Certificate in Performance Measurement (CIPM)
Millissa Allen, CAIA
Managing Director, Global Head of Fundamentals of Alternative Investments @CAIA
Millissa joined CAIA Association in September 2013. Ms. Allen, who earned her CAIA Charter in 2012, oversees strategic initiatives to promote the CAIA program and deepen industry relationships throughout the USA and Canada. Prior to joining CAIA, Ms. Allen served as Director of Sales Operations at Hatteras Funds for eight years, where she managed client relationships, orchestrated multi-level marketing campaigns, led sales and marketing training, and managed more than 100 sales-related events per year. Ms. Allen brings tremendous energy, expertise, and innovation to CAIA’s efforts to introduce the CAIA Charter to new audiences and to expand CAIA’s visibility within companies already dedicated to promoting the CAIA Charter internally. Ms. Allen received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland.
