Aaron Filbeck, CFA, CAIA, CIPM, FDP
Director of Global Content Development @CAIA
Aaron provides vision, leadership, and strategic direction for CAIA Association's content agenda and member education programs. He chairs CAIA Association's global editorial board and sits on the organization's content and exams leadership team. As a practitioner, Aaron served as portfolio manager and oversaw manager research and portfolio construction efforts for high net worth individuals and institutional retirement plans. As an academic, his work has been published by Oxford University Press and The Journal of Investing, and covers topics such as ESG/sustainable investing, liquid alternatives, commodities, and asset pricing/factor investing. He is a frequent writer and speaker on these topics. Aaron earned a B.S. with distinction in Finance and a Master of Finance from Penn State University.
Rebecca Lewis
AVP - Research & Data Operations @Preqin
Rebecca Lewis has represented Preqin’s Research & Data Operations (RDO) efforts on the West Coast since 2019, initially joining Preqin in 2014 in its London office. She is responsible for driving new opportunities for client engagement, as well as assisting in developing and implementing new data offerings. Rebecca has worked across several functions and datasets, all of which involved acting as a custodian for Preqin’s data, products, and client satisfaction. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Sociology from the University of Bath, and acts the Americas’ representative on Preqin’s Global Diversity, Equity & Inclusion steering committee.
Millissa Allen, CAIA
Managing Director, Global Head, Fundamentals of Alternative Investment @CAIA Association
Millissa joined CAIA Association in September 2013. Ms. Allen, who earned her CAIA Charter in 2012, oversees strategic initiatives to promote the CAIA program and deepen industry relationships throughout the USA and Canada. Prior to joining CAIA, Ms. Allen served as Director of Sales Operations at Hatteras Funds for eight years, where she managed client relationships, orchestrated multi-level marketing campaigns, led sales and marketing training, and managed more than 100 sales-related events per year. Ms. Allen brings tremendous energy, expertise, and innovation to CAIA’s efforts to introduce the CAIA Charter to new audiences and to expand CAIA’s visibility within companies already dedicated to promoting the CAIA Charter internally. Ms. Allen received her Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Maryland.
