Prof. Vaidyanathan Krishnamurthy

Vaidya Nathan is a Resident faculty at the Indian School of Business. Prior to joining ISB, he was a Resident faculty at the School of Business, University of Connecticut. Before becoming an academic, he was an Investment Banker with JPMorganChase Bank in Hong Kong, New York, and Singapore. He is also a Consultant with the World Bank. He holds a B.Tech in Electrical Engineering from IIT Kanpur, and an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad. He holds a PhD in Finance and has done his Post Doctoral Fellowship from Santa Clara University. He is a columnist with the Financial Express. He is the author of two books. He has won the Most Outstanding Faculty Award at the University of Connecticut and has won the ISB Alumni Endowment Research Fellow award. He was appointed Chairman-LOCF Committee for Economics by the UGC. He is member of state finances sub-group of experts of Government of Punjab. He has been an Associate Dean at ISB in the past. He is currently Faculty Director-PGP Finance.
Aaron Filbeck, CAIA, CFA
Associate Director, Content Development @CAIA Association
Aaron Filbeck serves as Associate Director of Content Development at CAIA Association, where he supports the curation, development, and execution of the organization’s content strategy and CAIA Charter Program curriculum. A demonstrated writer, Aaron has published on topics such as environmental, social and governance (ESG) investing, liquid alternatives, commodities, and asset pricing/factor investing. Prior to his role at CAIA Association, Aaron served as a portfolio manager at The Joseph Group Capital Management, a registered investment adviser (RIA) in Columbus, OH. Here, he oversaw manager research and portfolio construction efforts for $500 million worth of high net worth individuals and institutional retirement plans. Aaron earned a B.S. with distinction in Finance and a Master of Finance from Penn State University. He holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA), Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA), and Certificate in Performance Measurement (CIPM) desginations.
